Her debut play ‘Looking for Giants’ premiered at Underbelly Cowgate as part of the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe and transterred to London King’s Head Theatre in January 2025. Cesca’s in-development second play ‘Short Pleasures Long Woes’ was selected as part of Omnibus Theatre’s Engine Room: Next Page season in 2024. These were produced by That What’s Wild, a theatre company Cesca founded in 2023. That What’s Wild also produce new writing nights, ‘A Word After A Word After A Word’, that stage the work of female-identifying writers and directors.
Cesca was Associate Director on ‘Impressions of Another Country’, a series of staged readings from James Baldwin’s 1962 novel, as part of Mount Street Neighbourhood Arts Festival 2025. This year, she is Associate Curator and Dramaturg for ‘The Fabric of Us’, an interdisciplinary performance held as part of Mount Street Neighbourhood Arts Festival 2026.
Previously, Cesca assisted Lucy Prebble and other executives on the second series of I Hate Suzie. She has also assisted writers of fiction and academics.
Currently, Cesca is the Studio Assistant to a London-based artist and director working across theatre, film, opera and installation. Cesca’s particular interest is in creating, supporting and encouraging interdisciplinary work that bridges gaps between performance, literature, film and visual art.
